Positive the foreign trade. Unacea at Gic – Italian days for concrete
In the first quarter of 2022, 5,051 construction machines have been placed on the Italian market, up 34% if compared to 2021. In more details, 4,866 earth moving machines (+33%) and 185 road machines (+34%) were sold. Figures, based upon the sales of manufacturing and import companies, were presented by Unacea in a digital press conference held last 27th April.
Positive the foreign trade, according to the last Unacea-CER Foreign trade report. Indeed, in January 2022 the exports of construction equipment reached €177 million, up 18% compared to January 2021. Positive the imports with an increase of +129% for a value of €167 million. Trade balance remains in surplus, despite the decrease of 87% annually.
In this promising market scenario, Gic – Italian days for concrete, the trade fair dedicated to concrete equipment and technologies, took place in Piacenza from 28th to 30th April. Unacea was present as a sponsored partner of the exhibition.
